Water is the very essence of life. It is impossible to survive without water and yet in many areas, people still do not have access to proper drinking water. Especially in rural areas people travel for miles to get some water and chances are they do not get clean water. One very important aspect to help in rural development is to make community drinking water available for people. The Government and NGOs are working together on projects to help get everyone clean drinking water. 

The Fundamental Aspects Of Making Water Available For Everyone:

• Sources: There can be different sources through which people can get clean drinking water like hand-pump, bore-well, water plants or tap water. It depends on many factors like area, budget, feasibility of model, needs of the local, etc to build a source. 

• Schemes: The first thing to do before beginning with the new project is to understand what and how it will benefit the local people. You also need to understand the schemes. For example, there might already be a sanction for bore-well. In that case, it is of no use for you to construct another well. Therefore, go for something else like a hand pump which is not already available. Also make sure that it is possible to execute the plan of the model. Sometimes due to a lot of unsanctioned plans, the board sanctions the plan without studying the convenience. 

• The next criteria is to determine the budget. It is always a smart idea to implement budget-friendly projects. Do not start a project which is way too expensive as the locals won’t be able to afford it. In that case, plan a new model

• Objective: Your motive should not be just make water available for everyone but you need to have a clear objective of what you want as a result. Your objective can also help you develop a better plan. 

These are some points that you should keep in mind while designing a water project. Make sure everyone has enough mineral water project information about the project.
