In a profit-maximizing and a business-oriented world, people aim at personal benefits. In achieving personal goals, we often forget the existence of the other. The unequal distributions of wealth and services lead to an eruption of a group that stays within the shadows denied the basic rights of sustenance. To bring these people within the halo of the rights of survival, we need donations for non-profit. This can instigate non-profit organizations that strive to uplift these underprivileged masses of the society to work better and efficiently.

Donors who donate things for the purpose of the betterment of some individual, company, or an organization without thinking of some profit, out of an investment, in return are generally called non-profit donors. The very next question that arises in the mind is that; why should someone do such a thing. When the world is so competitive in nature running fast to become the early bird to catch the worm being completely at par with the saying “survival of the fittest”? The answer is very simple. It hints to the fact that humanity is still surviving well in this materialistic world.

It is not always about parting but sharing. A large chunk of society exists where awareness is not available. When awareness is not available one would behave in a way that is harmful to the society leading to its contamination.

Let’s take education for instance. If education is not disseminated to the masses, they would remain less human compared to the technological man. Lack of education would lead to contamination of the culture. When these kids come to interact with the educated masses they would exchange their ways of behavior and the finesse of culture would be lost. Lack of money, employment, and food to become a stark instance in the spreading of various unethical behaviors such as robbery, thievery and other sorts of a behavioral nuisance. Hunger makes a cannibal out of a man. Environmental problems raise their head high to climate change and other health hazards. All such problems creep in due to the unequal distribution of the rights and stratification of society due to denial and deprivation.
How to help them?
Several non-profit organizations such as Victas Foundation have taken it on themselves to dedicate maximum possible time to work for these strata of the society who are vulnerable and in dire need of help. Such initiatives are commendable.
