Naari Shakti Project By Victas Foundation At A Glance

naari suraksha project

In order to make women self-independent and self-confident, Naari Suraksha projects have come up. These projects are for women’s well-being and the main motive is to reduce the disparity between men and women.

Problems That Women Encounter In Day To Day Lives:

  • From returning late at night and facing security issues to harassment calls and abusive messages on various social media handles. Women try to avoid these, but no real charge is taken against these crimes. Also in case of emergencies, there is hardly anyone to help. Thus, women face a number of issues in society. Especially if you take a closer look, the ones living in rural areas or those who are not financially well-off lead a difficult life. Most of them have no respect in the family, live in unhygienic conditions, have no proper shelter, etc. Thus a visionary change is pertinent as women and children deserve to live in safety in the country.
  • In Asian countries, where female deities are supreme, to see this violence against women is in fact against religion. We must rise to restore divinity and dignity for women. There should be a constant reminder of the various problems that women face in every walks of life. In fact, men should come forward and join hands in working for the betterment of society as a whole.

Naari Suraksha Project:

Through community development learning modules, Victas Foundation, a voluntary organization, is making people more responsible and helping them to understand their rights. Their Naari Suraksha Project received accolades from all around the world due to its contribution to the development of the rural and urban people of India.  One of the varied objectives is to ensure good health, to prevent cervical cancer at an affordable cost so that lower and BPL groups can afford cancer treatment at ease. Their initiative “Nari Shastho” is an initiative to prevent cervical cancer at the very root level by screening and also support those who have been fighting with it.

Key Features Of The Project:

  • Cancer screening would be done to identify the disease.
  • A lot of lives would be saved if cancer is screened at an early stage.
  • Ray treatment and chemotherapy would be done at a very low cost.
  • Medicines and chemotherapy would be borne by the organization
  • Through their program, they made life a safe and sound journey for millions of underprivileged people who could not even dream of better health and lifestyle, and most importantly better treatment.

So, come forward to help the organization to continue doing such noble work in years to come.
