Integrated village development projects are important to improve the standard and quality of life of the people in rural areas.

Some Of The Ways The Volunteers Can Carry Out Upliftment Are:

  1. Poverty Removal: Fossil fuels are not only becoming hard to get but equally costly. Getting solar energy is a simple and cheap way to get the energy needed in rural villages. The price for charging solar panels sets is really cheap and helps people to reduce their power-related costs. At the same point, the availability of energy may help rural people to work even after the sunsets. Increasing work timings can have a big effect on income generation.
  2. Women’s Development: With improving facilities, women can help themselves in different house-based work such as making clothes. Again, different women, self-help clusters can organize evening gatherings that would help them to work during the morning time. Naari Suraksha Projects have the aim to make women and young girls independent.
  3. Improving Health Facilities: Other than being expensive, fossil fuels eject harmful gases that degrade the health of the providers. It also increases pollution and environmental problems. Solar power is not only less costly but also does emit harmful gases.
  4. Food Security- Unfortunately, the villagers provide our food all over the country, but they do not get a balanced diet. So the NGOs help the farmers with sustainable agricultural equipment and pesticides and ensure their food security. They help to restore the water sources so that natural calamities such as short rainfall can not affect agriculture and the rural population.
  5. Financial Aid: Self-run savings and credit groups can come up in the village locality. Their main objective will be to provide micro-loans to those who are going to start their own business or for purchasing farm equipment. This will not only boost their confidence but will also give them the means to better their living conditions.
